Hey, Brian: Give me five things that have kept you busy since your last post almost two months ago!
I have taught an awesome monoscene class in Lancaster, Pa., that reminds me that forms are generally pretty easy if you trust people’s instincts and give them small tools to succeed.
ONE!
The Highwire Center is getting closer and closer to opening up. I have refreshed the website tracking the status of our building permit (which is now approved) way too many times. But things are really kicking off this week.
TWO!
Work has been nuts, but I got to go to Ireland for a conference where I saw some good comedy!
THREE!
I taught a few workshops and feel like the one on group scenes I did in Lancaster is ripe for taking elsewhere.
FOUR!
I have done and re-done the schedule for Highwire’s Season 20, which will take place in our new location once we open. I cannot wait to unveil it once we are sure work will be done in time. We have so many great things planned.
FIVE! THESE ARE FIVE THINGS!
Hopefully I will work on making time to write more soon. In the meantime, here is a picture I apparently took from the stage at The Church of Satire comedy club in Hanover, Pa., where I live, while hosting a Drunk History-esque show recently. I don’t recall taking this picture. (I live within walking distance.
